A peaceful fall soundscape of the swelling of the wind as it blows through the leaves of the cottonwood tree, plus, the melancholy sound of some blue jays calling out -- to me blue jays are the iconic sound of fall. Recorded using my handy zoom h4-n portable digital audio recorder and my rode nt-g 2 shotgun microphone. Enjoy.

I made this recording with my marantz pmd661 using two samson co-2 microphones. , pointed 180 degrees apart to gather as much sound as i could. A unique sound i recorded in bangkok whilst standing on a floating pier waiting for a boat. The pier is made of metal and the sound produced is the empty steel pier rubbing against the pylons with each wave of the river. You can also hear a boat motor as a ferry pulls up to the pier.
